Kevin Christophe, Ph.D.

Kevin Christophe, Ph.D. Kevin Christophe, Ph.D., is the president of Progress Consulting, an organizational development firm specializing in strategic planning, cross-cultural management, and executive coaching. Some clients include:

Dr. Christophe produced the African American Heritage Sourcebook: Tribute to Thurgood Marshall. The Sourcebook was written for the Federal Judiciary to celebrate African American heritage within the 94 US Courts in 2001. It offers a wealth of information on African-American history, culture, contemporary issues, celebration ideas, and resource institutions. The Sourcebook raises awareness and reduces stereotyping.

Dr. Christophe holds a doctorate degree in Organizational Studies from Alliant International University and a Master of Arts degree in Organizational Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley.

Before launching Progress Consulting full time, Dr. Christophe was the Manager of the Learning Resource Center at Heald College in Sacramento, California. He also taught International Business, Organizational Theory, and Business Communications at Heald.

Dr. Christophe is currently involved in several community development projects. He serves as a reviewer of proposals for grant funding to community-based organizations engaged in the prevention and treatment of HIV/AIDS. He is the co-chair of the Park Development Initiative at Antioch Progressive Baptist Church, engaged in a fund raising project to build a park for parishioners and residents in the Meadowview community.

Dr. Christophe is committed to youth development. He was the tutor supervisor at Dream West, a college preparatory program in West Oakland, California, that helped inner-city youth gain admission to prestigious universities. He also coordinated the Young Entrepreneurs Program at the Haas Business School (U.C. Berkeley), where youth from the East-Bay area received business-start-up assistance in strategic planning and venture capital funding.
